ABOUT GERMAN
- German is the most widely spoken native language in Europe, with over 100 million speakers across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein. Germany is the economic engine of the European Union, and it actively welcomes skilled workers from around the world. For Indian professionals, German proficiency significantly strengthens applications for Germany’s Skilled Worker Visa (Fachkräfteeinwanderungsgesetz), engineering and IT roles, and admissions to Germany’s world-class, largely tuition-free universities.
- German is also the gateway to Austria and Switzerland’s booming job markets. Beyond career prospects, it is the language of Goethe, Einstein, and Kafka — a rich literary and intellectual tradition. All German proficiency levels are assessed through internationally recognised Goethe-Institut certificates, accepted by universities, employers, and immigration authorities worldwide.
